Innovative Marine Ext 100 Gallon Tank Build

Well been thinking about starting a reef tank for some time finally bit the bullet.

Got the tank stand set up, then got some people to help me move the tank onto the stand and started plumbing today. I'll try to keep snapping some pictures as I go.

I dont know if you already got the current usa power heads but I didn't have a good experience with them. They barely pushed water

I did figured could put it all on one controller (didn't want to go the Apex route just yet still new to the hobby). see what happens between the 1900gph flow of the dc pump and wavemaker hopefully will have enough current. Appreciate the heads up.

Thanks see how this goes and if not enough flow I'll probably go that route.

Have an Innovative Marine 15 gallon ATO tank, initially was going to do a Sapphire 26 sump decided maybe wasn't big enough got a Sapphire 39 instead. Wife wants me to hide the ATO as it won't fit under the stand anymore. Just picked this up.

Figure I can drill the back to make a hole for lines/wires.

Got my aquascape done, rinsed and added dry sand. Letting PaleoBond dry tonight and will add water tomorrow! Once saltwater is appropriate will add live sand as well. Getting excited!

Was just going through my orders again because my powerhead moves a lot of water. Realized I bought a 2100gph unit, did you maybe get a 600 or 1050 gph unit?

Yeah 2100 moves a lot of water. Did decide to get a 2nd so I could put them at half power on each side to get good flow and not blow away 1 side of the tank. Got my tank up and running!

Do you have a list of all of the plumbing supplies you used? I'm lazy with my 75 INT and would love that list!

Being as I had about 10ft of extra pipe, not enough fittings for some things I might not be the best person. Also INT is different than EXT I think the runs are pretty straight would be substantially different. Biggest is order couple extra of everything as you will mess some up or want it to look better.
