New carpet anemone

Sorry my uploaded picture is upside down. I think he is a hadonni carpet .
When I got him almost two months ago, he was mostly bleached. Now he looks light green, not fluorescent green. His companion is a sebae anemone with a pair of misbarred black clowns.

It is a Haddoni, and it looks very healthy. Congrats on restoring it to full health!

Anemones are in a 40, not the 20.

Full view of both anemones . Outbreak of red slime - just too nervous to treat right now.

I might be wrong but I think your other anemone is a Heteractis Aurora. They are very awesome IMO and I don't see them too often.

Petco sold it as a sebae back last December. I have it under 250 watt hqi metals
10000K and T5 - blue type . It looked really good 6 months ago- magenta with full tentacles until I had a bad outbreak of a slimy algae/ bacteria? Forced to use a double dosage of chemiclean . it hasn’t looked the same since. This tank
has episodic algae issues- kept me from keeping acros now for almost two years.

Magenta? That sounds so cool! do you have pictures of it when it didn't change color yet?

Not those pictures. Think my carpet anemone is getting more green. Been dosing weak Kalkwasser with my topoff water.

Nice Heteractis aurora (not surprised Petco labeled it "sebae").

I think it is a H. malu instead of H. aurora.

Nice anemones

My hadonni carpet just ate my new small sailfin tang just recently. Turned lights on and it startled the fish. Very saddened and disappointed with the loss.
My only fish are the two black clownfish and the recent blue tang.
