Post 30 gallon Visio

Decided to post my progress here and no clog up the other forums

As some of you know I've been trying to put together the 30 gallon Visio I bought a few weeks ago. I had it set up and things were going well only to spring a leak in one of the bulkheads. After thinking about different options, I decided to plug the bulkhead at the bottom of the tank and add a synergy overflow to the tank. Just ordered the overflow should be here in a few days.

Thanks for all the help. Plugged the hole with a piece of 3/8 glass it's holding well

30 gallon Visio

Changed some things up

Took everything out and put in another tank I have. I added a 2nd return and a synergy overflow. I also sold the RMS arm and bought the hanging kit. Putting that up sometime later in the week

May I ask how you plugged the bottom drilled hole?

My uncle made a piece to fit in the hole. It has a lip so it sealed completely

great tank! Pretty cool to see the changes you made with the plumbing so you can get it up and running the way you want it.

Thanks

Yeah plumbing is a lot better now. Battling a bit of algae at the moment. Corals seem to be doing good so far. I’ll have to update the thread soon

Tank looks a lot different from day one. Took out a few rocks, algae bloom is pretty much over. Added a few things to the tank today
