Need help identifying this

I'd like to know what the green spongy structure is (in the middle of the photo). It started out small and it keeps slowly expanding. It has tube like structures forming. I touched it and it feels rough or dry (not wet and slimy). It does not grow larger during daylight hours like a coral would.

It is a sponge and is a good sign that the tank is healthy.
