Water change

I feel that I'm going through a Bacterial bloom for about a week now. I did a 10 gallon water change today but didn't see too much of a difference. I have a 90 gallon bow front with some LR, Also a 29 gallon sump. I only have two 5gallon containers plus RO water take forever but that's part of the hubby. I don't think that its enough of a water change to see a difference. Do any one have any suggestions.
FYI I live in a NYC apartment (not that much room) to store a 55gallon container lol.
