Gen 4 Radion Pros

Is anyone keeping bta’s under gen 4 radion pros? If so can you share your program, intensity and schedule? Also tank size and if they are the xr15 or xr30?

Yes.....5 RBT and a S. Haddoni.....XR15...2 of them.....80 gallon.....16 inches deep....4 feet long...they Run 10am to 10pm....ramps up dawn to dusk.....I had my LFS owner program it for me over a year ago when I bought them from him. I don't have the exact numbers, but nems are thriving...tanks been up for over 5 years....the par at sand level is around 200.....I have no SPS....just LPS.....and nems.....

Awesome, thanks. Surprising coincidence, I’m in St. Louis as well. I was just concerned because I have two mini maxis that have bleached but my green and red bta’s have not. I just got about a 10” rainbow or bicolor bta yesterday from gateway as they got a bunch in from a tear down and wanted to ensure I didn’t have issues.

IME, anemones don't bleach because of too much light, but rather not enough light or another ailment that kills the zoox. Since they have the ability to move, most times nems will just move to an area that they prefer, be it with lower lighting or lower flow. BTAs are notorious for this. My mini maxi is in a shallow 60 gallon tank lit with two Radion XR30s set at about 65% and hasn't moved at all.

Welcome....yea a coincidence for sure! Yea your nems will be fine under the Radions..... strange about the mini maxi...you probably already did it....but did you double check your water just in case something is "off"?

My RBTA is in a 45 cube. Anemone is attached to the bottom, but expands to about 8 inches below the light. Gen 4 Radion XR15 is 3 inches above the surface. Also have H. magnifica about 8 inches directly under a Radion in a 90 gal. tank (has 2 Radions).

Proportions are:
White: 80
Blue: 40
Royal Blue: 40
Green: 25
Red: 25
UV: 0
Violet: 25
Warm White: 60

Overall: 60

Schedule is 10 hours, 30 minute up and down on each end of that 10 hours.

Dan
