Great build and thanks for your input on my build. I have one question. Can I use the Seaklear in my live rock bin while using my skimmer. And which product of Seaklear should I use or do you have a better idea?

http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2049855 I ended up using phosfree because I was able to get twice as much half the price of seaklear. I don't have a skimmer running on the bin right now but haven't noticed any precipitate and I do plan on rinsing off thoroughly before putting them into the tank.

I remember how much fun it was when I was a kid and someone got a new appliance in the neighborhood. The was an instant fort. Well the kids on my street will have a blast with this when it arrives. Hopefully it cleared customs yesterday.

don't let that sohal go!!!! I still want it. I need things to settle down in my 80g before picking it up. With all of the work going on in the basement, I'm guessing some noxious odors got sucked into my water column and things have been looking a little stressed lately. All of my other parameters are spot on so I thru some chemi pure in and have been running my skimmer very wet the last few days. Everything is looking much better now.

Finally.....it has arrived!
10 months of planning have finally come to life! hiring movers was the best investment so far during this entire build!!!!!!!
I thought they were kidding when only 4 medium sized guys got out of the truck Once they reached this point I had to stop watching or taking pictures because I was too nervous. The tank had to be flipped on its side to get it down my bilco stairs into the basement. Finally in its new resting spot....the movers were amazing. The obligatory kid in the tank shot..... Finally my wife said if the tank doesn't work out she knows what else it can be used for....a glass coffin. The cabinet maker will be here today to take measurements for the canopy and the panels around the base. The real fun begins now...plumbing and aquascaping.....

Congrats, has to be an exciting time! I've been reefless for 10 months now and I'm happy with just getting my frag tank portion up and running I think I'd have a breakdown if it all came at once!

If you love plumbing so much why did you not come over and help me out? I would have paid for the trip and all![/QUOTE]
LOL....but I never said that I loved plumbing. Just said that fun would begin. My plumber did think I did a pretty good job on my other system but my contractor didn't feel the same way about the stand I built for the frag tank. He built me a completely new stand with extended platform for my sump, pumps and reactors. I'll post a picture of it later on.
