Coming Back
I am not new to the hobby but have been in and out over the past 15 years or so. We moved from Chicago to Dallas 4 years ago into a new house. I have been lurking the site and getting the itch to start a new build. I pulled the trigger last night on a Waterbox 130 Reef Plus and I am excited to get started. I need to purchase the essentials such as a skimmer, return pump, rock and sand which I plan to do as I wait for my tank to be built.
Looking forward to being part of the community again! |

Unfortunately when we moved we bought a much larger house and the property taxes are high where I am. Its kind of a wash since I dont pay state income tax in Texas as I did in Illinois. Glad to be back for sure! Looking forward to being part of the hobby again. The reef scene in Dallas is weak with little to no LFS in the area. Chicago was a hot bed for great LFS and hobbyist so most of my livestock will be by online ordering.
