LF: 20in Fixture for 37gal Column
Any and all decent/cheap offers. 20inch fixture! Or less if it's something like general LEDs or halide.
Looking to do seahorses, or something simple. Not crazy enough to try and do a reef in such a tall tank with no real sump. So cheap lighting options just for a FOWLR or seahorse, something... Considering all options as long as it looks nice, works well, and has some actinic/blue to it. Have some things to trade too like rock and rubble, bowfront tank, inline canister filter, etc. |

I have the following fixture...I've never really used it since I bought it and the person I bought it from only used it for 3 months at 8/hrs a day. It's got 6 lamps (3 actinic and 3 daylight) on 2 cords, so you can do a dawn/dusk effect, which is pretty important for seahorses. Also, if you ever decide to, you can pretty much keep anything.
Comes with legs and a unused OEM hanging kit. $150 http://www.amazon.com/Nova-Extreme-P.../dp/B001F829AK |

If I reconsider I'll let you know, I may/may not just buy one of the cheaper LED fixtures to play with, being that I don't want any super wattage for corals.
The limiting factor is the amount of work I know is going to go into this tall tank with narrow flow area. My high-dollar per gallon tank in the house is going to be my pico, for some pretty frags and 1 fish. After that, the column is just to catch eyes and look pretty. |
