Help finding "collect zones" in Florida
Good evening ladies and gents,
I live in Miami, FL and I am now getting more and more interested in looking at live reefs in different parts of Florida. I was wondering where I can find an actual website or place that specifically shows or says that you can legally collect soft coral, fish, etc.. I know there are regulations which I read on FWC's website but I was wondering where everyone had gone here in Florida from the lower Keys to up North Florida. And where for sure you can collect IF I end up wanting certain things which I know I would want to lol. Thanks everyone and sorry for such a noobish question! |

You should be asking FWC. They are the ONLY authority on what and where you can take without being jailed and given a big fine.

Start by reading this thread, http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/sh....php?t=2511350, then contact the correct authorities for any needed permits.
