TDS Meter
Does any TDS meter do the job? I saw an inline meter I thought would be nice but why spend the extra?

In line are just convenient, your more likely to check on a regular basis if its hooked up and right there. They are only $30-$40 not to expensive at all. I'd highly recommenced a dual or triple so you can monitor input water to the system, output from the membrane, and output from the DI resin to gauge when it's time to replace things with a simple push of a button to take readings.

Awesome. I imagine that's the in line one? I think I'm leaning towards that anyhow.

The very lowest end meters don't include ATC - automatic temperature compensation. That's a feature you'll want. Inline meters can have one, two, or three probes like the new TRM1 For a RODI system a three-probe set up is ideal so you can monitor the feedwater, RO water, and DI water. Lastly, be careful in counterfeits made to look almost identical to brand name meters. The auction site website is full of them. Russ |
