The purple nem is a condy. I put the mollys in there to see if they would eat algae... mine don't.

Hit the nail on the head with that, the rocks are extremely established. The 65 has been set up for about two years. The 40 has been tore down and set up a few times over the last 10 years. I do 5-gallon water changes every 4 or 5 days and I vodka dose both systems.hth
I also feed extremely heavy.

My sump is only 12" x 12" x 16", can't afford refugium due to space limitation. Will have one once running on split chiller unit. No water changes since started 2.5 years ago as salt is expensive in my place. Lighting is less than USD25 per pack, have 3, all DIY LED light as one branded unit will cost me 3 months salary

It doesn't matter how much you spend. Your tank is beautiful and seems to be working for you , keep it up! Sometimes less is more is what iv learned so far with some of the tanks posted here.

Yes it is. I got a good deal on it used. If it does not work out I can sell it for what I paid for,it and get a bigger skimmer.

Tossed the tube lights and did my own custom mod with 2 Hydra 26HD's in the light chamber - Worked like a charm.

Beautiful tank and awesome sump what reactors are those? I'm still look for a good set small enough to fit in my sump looking at the 2 little fishes ones. And I love the refuge from the ato great idea! I'd love to have a smal refuge like that but right now I have to use the ato for ato haha. Awesome setup thanks.

Thanks! Those are aquamaxx fr-se reactors. Perfect for smaller sumps. I don't expect much nutrient export from the fuge being so small my main goal is to maintain my pod population.

So iv added 2 brs reactors and installed them with included tubing, it's very stiff tubing and hard to move and place where you want, any idea how to creat a cleaner sump. The brs reactors have the quick release push connections, do they make a flexible option that anyone knows of or do I have to hard wire it with elbows?
