Shroom removal a big mistake
I’ve made a huge mistake in trying to remove one big mushroom. Cut the mushroom way away but broke up in to more pieces than i can mention. Really concerned now. I should have left well alone. Vigilance will be the watchword. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Shrooms tend to grab onto rock after a while. I'm guessing you MIGHT find little shrooms everywhere after a while. You would maybe siphon as much as you can catch into a net into your sump to minimize this. I personally like shroom tanks, but I've seen them get out of hand.

I peeled a 16inch in diameter Amplexidiscus mushroom off my rocks. Six months later I had 4 3inch Amplexidiscus mushrooms in it's place.
