That's pretty crazy. They certainly look happy and healthy.
Second vid didn't work for me but the first one was enough eye stimulus. The blue only would have burned holes in my retinas.

Hehe, here's the one I've made today. I think it is exactly 2 months after I've made the original one. Came out a little shaky but I got almost all of my corals in one go, which is nice. watch in 1080p

that is an insane video, really beautiful to copy kevlow. I could watch that over and over, the PE on all the pieces are great.

So you are just doing the basics of keeping everything stable, feeding the fish, doing a water change every once and awhile and thats it? No other additives, etc?

What is your lighting schedule?

Yeah, I try to keep it simple, the only things I worry about on the regular basis are No3 and Po4, I usually try to keep those above 0. All of the other important things I try not to mess with. Since I have a gotten a calcium reactor on a masterflex pump, things became a lot easier. Other things I pay very close attention to are 1)RO/DI 2)Flow 3) PH. As far as polyp extension goes, I have noticed that my miliapora have the nicest PE in a very high flow ( not sure how to describe the intensity) and anywhere above 380 par. Generally, all of my millis are in the 450-500 range. The ones that are lower in the tank, don't have comparable PE.

I dose kno3 occasionally to bump up my nitrates, and I dose K because it is always low. I also want to purchase an Iodine test kit and start dosing that too.

As far as the lighting goes, I run 2 t5s from 11am-5pm, and I think my led's run at 70b/40w for the same amount of time. I get around 600-650 par on the top of that big purple colony in the video, and it tapers off from there. Bottom of the tank where my fruitloops are is about 250 par, corners get a little less light.

Pretty fantastic!
So, you have light on over your tank for only 6 hours?

Yeah at full intensity I run my lights about 6 hours but I have my led ramp up from 9 am to 11 and ramp down from 5 to 7.

Hm, so full photoperiod, including all light is 10 hours and full intensity for 6.
Wow.. that is very interesting.
And par is pretty high for the full intensity..

very nice! is that as much flow as your tank has? It really doesnt look like that much by the way the polyps are moving.

I am starting to think I may have way too much flow inside my tank with how much my polyps move compared to some of the videos I have seen

No, actually my tank flow is very poor for the amount of the corals I have , I will be working on correcting that in the next few months. As long as the flow is not direct and does not stress the coral out, acros love a ton of flow. I think flow is even more important than the light.

Great video! Colours are amazing and pe. Super nice!
What’s the ultra pink coral at the 1 minute mark?
Also, are those Walt Disneys below and above the Hawkins around 4:40?

Hopefully I️ can upgrade to a much larger tank one day. I️ wouldn’t mind getting a 3-400 tank.
