thank you! thanks cugly, I tried placing all the stags up top and towards the back, while the bushy and tabling corals are up front. I hope it works out. And thanks about the fish selection. I told myself no impulse buys with this tank….which I've almost achieved, lol Quote:
Thank you for the compliment and thanks for checking it out. Quote:

Awesome stuff. Glad to see you're relatively local to myself. Looking forward to seeing the tank mature and sub'd for sure!

Much appreciated I added some anthias and my second regal, who as you can see is in the acclimation box. I have to say, so far so good. The two regals are very interested in each other and I don't see any signs of aggression. Keeping my fingers crossed as I'll be one happy reefer if these two work out. I'm only using my supplemental lighting for now, trying to keep the new guy comfortable. He/she did eat within 5 minutes of being transferred from my QT to the acclimation box. |

The introduction of my two regals couldn't have gone any better. Absolutely zero aggression. I was really surprised. They hang out together a lot, which is beautiful to see. I'm trying to get a better pic of the two of them. |

Good luck with the second regal.
Did you build a stand and hood or use a DSA's? If you used DSA how do you like them? My wife does not know it yet, but I got the itch for a bigger tank and the DSA 175 has some nice dimensions.

I'm really happy, I haven't seen any aggression between the two at all. My only concern is the new guy is a slow methodical eater and I fear he doesn't get enough food. He is definitely eating anything I put in the tank, just much slower than my other fish.
Thanks, The regal angelfish is an all time favorite of mine. I can't imagine my tank without one. Like any angel, there is a risk with nipping. I've owned 4 in my life and never once seen one nip my coral… but you never know Thank you biggles. On a side note, my autocorrect always turns your name into boggles, lol Thanks so much Quote:
