Dimensions of a standard 10 gallon brace?

I'm debating whether or not to get back into the hobby and am thinking about a ten gallon tank if I do. It has been more than a decade since I got out of the hobby and most of my technical data has been lost. The dimensions that are easily found via Google for aquariums are the outside dimensions of the glass. I'm looking for the outside dimensions of the plastic bracing, as I would want to build a stand and hood that covers the braces. Does anyone know these dimensions?

Aqueon lists them at 10.5x20.25 inches. Which may not include the trim but may.

I measured one I have in storage to see if it's different. It's 9.5x20 inches.

Because of the variance I suggest you go to a store that you will get the tank from and measure it.
