Question Help me find a Good Tank/home monitoring wifi Web camera

Can i get some help to pick out a good HD wifi camera that I can check on my android phone or laptop when I'm away from home?
I'm thinking about possibly 3 of them one upstairs in my dinning room for tanks viewing and part of the house monitoring as well and 2 more for two sides of my fish room. So I will need one that I can move around from my phone and zoom and focus?
Also does anyone know how much data these take up when in use on average?

Have you considered the NEST Cam? On my last tank, I used an old Galaxy S4 stuck to the side of the tank, and installed a remote-cam viewing app. It worked pretty good, but didn't have pan/tilt/zoom.

I got a high end security HD camera with ptz and 23x political zoom. Works real well for fish viewing.

iPhone with the IPCamera app. It works with apex too. Easy to set up and many of us have unused smart phones laying around.

Care to share? I did a quick search and they popped up costing thousands.

I personally use a Foscam which works pretty good. I wish it had a much better zoom though!

I have a samsung SNP-L6233 it's a poe camera 1080p with 23x optical and 12x digital.

It uses onvif and rtsp to stream and is ptz capable very nice camera.

I can zoom in to almost clam level from across the room. It's what I use fort monitoring my tank when I'm on vacation and asked my tank sitter to do things.

I have a Sony 720p SNC-EP550 for sale it's 32x optical and 12x dictation zoom. Nice camera but I wanted the higher resolution of 1080p. It's a little over kill price wise but definitly much better than most foscam or amcrest camera for the better optics. Also helps with the actinic coloring cause it's better controllable software wise.

FI9826P - It's an ok camera and the zoom helps. I just wish I could zoom in a lot more. The picture is clear. The problem with Foscam is that they changed the name of the company and essentially dropped all support, so you have to figure out the programming on your own using their guide. I use one facing the tank and one under the tank to monitor the sump. It's perfect for that.

Yes, Foscam has a free app which allows you to monitor and control. I had it working in Apex Fusion as well, but due to a recent router change, I need to reconfigure that.

The first app i used to set up the s3 as a ip camera is ip webcam and the app to view it is Ivideon
It lets you have 2 cameras free, anymore and it starts charging you.

Help me find a Good Tank/home monitoring wifi Web camera

This is across the room without any zoom. But if I want to get deep zoom I can get to the clam size and in perfect focus with this Samsung cam.
