100% I use it all the time.
Loads cheaper then epoxy you buy at the LFS or online, and does the exact same thing.

I used two sticks, rolled them up and pressed them around the lip of pvc pipe. Then I dabbed it with a filter sponge to give it some texture. Just to make it look less like PVC pipe.
