My 10-gallon closed-circle Hexagon goes 8.5-gallon
I haven't been to this forum for about a year. I have a Hexagon reef tank that probably has the most simple design for Nanos, similar to my friend's ninjafish. I have LED too. A few months ago I moved and my critters were living in a plastic container with "the artificial kidney" - Eheim attached.
I modified my Hexagon tank today and in a week they will be moving back. I made it smaller and did some custom modifications to it. It should look even more beautiful than before (I followed golden ratios). My Eheim filter does all the filtration including life Chaeto, powered by two internal lights. I haven't had any chemistry issues/outbreaks for about 2 years I'm using modified Eheim. Here is the tank before (with some comments): http://picasaweb.google.com/aletik/Hexagon# Here it is modified. Everything will be moving back starting this Sunday. http://picasaweb.google.com/aletik/Ghf65547f7788g# Last edited by letik; 05/14/2010 at 06:01 PM. |
