I saw a thread here on RC several years ago where a guy named Dougan made a curved aluminum flat bar for his Radion.
I used aluminum flat bar but made two 45 degree bends to get the light out over the tank.
I ended up powder coating mine.

how did you attach to tank or is it connected to the stand

It is connected to the stand with lag bolts.
