Reflectors

Hello everyone.

Can anyone point me to a recommendation on 400 watt DE reflectors?

I have looked high and low and can't come up with anything.

I have a metal halide light that has crap reflectors and I would like to replace them with something decent if not good.

So what I have is two 400 watt metal halide bulbs that need better reflectors.

I just need the reflector nothing else.

Any recommendation would be really appreciated.

I'm running my 400 watt metal halide lamp in a Spider Light reflector. 2'x5' spread in my tank. I love it!

Thank you for the reply.

I don't need the socket assembly that is the problem.

I have DE bulbs so I just need the steel reflector. I saw some somewhere a long time ago but have struck out since.

Oops, sorry I missed the DE part! So you have a double ended fixture and bulb, but no reflector. Yeah, it seems like most DE setups come complete. You may need to compromise. This seems reasonable, needs bulb:

I will bet that some reefer local to you has one of these laying around. Lots of former MH users around...

I can't come up with anything.

I have been looking high and low.

Basically I have (2) 400 watt DE metal halide bulbs in my fixture.

The only reason I am wasting my time on this is I got the light for a smokin deal, I have good ballasts and bulbs and though by far it's not top of the line it works.

I am trying to come up with some good reflective aluminum or whatever and I will just build the reflector myself.

Can anyone recommend a good reflective metal material I can use to work with to build these?

I searched for high temp reflective metal sheets.

See if they can work from dimensions for a replacement, or if you sent them a sample.
