My dogs & I go into the bedroom & watch our shows in surround sound & watch the tank. the lights go off at 10:00 & go to sleep. It actually is working out pretty good. The only thing I did not think of is the heat this tank puts off. Might be a challenge in the summer.. I appreciate all the comments.

Where did you find those under tank LED lights and how do they mount?
Also, is that a forest of Kenya tree in there? |

Yes, they are about 1/6 the size they were in my old tank. They get real green with a purple hue on the trunk. Guess they are not used to the clean water in this tank yet Crappy pic, but you can get the idea

I wish I had your corals. It is going to take me awhile to load this thing up.
I saw the pics, you have quite a few nice looking corals in the new tank!

they mount with srews from the bottom. White reflector pops out & reveals 2 screw holes, then the white part pops back in. I am very happy with them, lots of light for 30.00.

I have no luck combining sps and softies( neon green kenya tree, pink leather finger and other nice softies in my tank. Are you planning to have mixed sps tank? Thanks

I noticed you use an Ozotech Ozonizer. How well is this unit working for you? Also where did you get the Precision Marine Balistic series skimmer from?
Thanks, Marc |

I have not hooked up the ozone yet. We had a death in the family on Thanksgiving & family was in town. I just got the APEX back to working wireless & have planed for today: Get the last 5 AI modules attached 2 M40s hooked up Get the Apex actually controlling something, just monitoring PH right now b/c I couldn't get the wireless portion working after changing routers. Mount some free frags a fellow reefer in Houston gave me, THANKS Travis!

Forgive me as I haven't been able to read the whole thread, but is that actually a heater you have on the left side tank wall?

After a weekend of honey dos All I got accomplished was to add the last 5 AI modules & stop the damn green "heartbeat LED" on some of the modules. 5 of the modules have a green led light that blinks constantly. At night the tank was blinking green.

Thank you! I think that was a major flaw in my planning. I will have to run another vent into the room when summer comes or get a stand alone A/C unit for night time. I didn't think about something this huge being 78 degrees & heating up the room...
