Curing Live Rock?

Hi, I am setting up a 10 gallon Nuvo fusion tank after I sell my 40 gallon. In another tank I have, I want to move some of my rock in there into my new 10 gallon tank. My question is, how can I get rid of the hair algae and the vermetids on it. If there isn’t a way, what is the best rock to buy which is ready to go.

Thanks

Pull the hair algae off best you can and kill the vermetids with a srewdriver by smashing the base. When you set-up the new tank, use a small clean-up crew, gfo, water changes and don't over-fed. That should help with reducing any remaining hair-algae.
