Yeah.. at 3:07 if goes dark!
Looks great though. Still love those purple frags on the far left, attached to the chunky rock.
Do you feed your elegance? It’s huge.

No special food only use a mix of frozen and small stuff for the anthias. That Cat grows bigger every day like the red goni next steps will be out but I will have trouble getting the goni, clam and cat out I have no idea how to frag them amazing saying they only cost £35,£40 and £30.

Hi , sorry about the video it was first real attempt and I forgot to cut the sound which was a free sample with the software . I did another to record the frags as a diary record which may be better.

Hi Mike, I have a picture taken last week after a major cut back and removal of corals to make space for a couple nice frags. This pic was taken at lunchtime with lights 100% as I run them for 2-3hrs Btwn 12.00 -3.00pm then whites down to 20% approx. they come on at 9.00am to 10pm I forgot to set the camera to a WB preset it was on auto so its as what it is but the pinks are vibrant if that helps more info in pm.Bill

Maxwell, great looking reef! I am about to try out 2 orpheks on my tank. Any recommendations to start. I’m coming from 2 250 watt Hamilton technology 20k bulbs.

Before you jump make sure you see the lights over a system or pm MSHUR as they are completely different spectrum to your 20k bulbs .My lights are the V3 version and im going to add a T5 blue + to mine to see if it makes a difference..

I have seen them over a system. A few people local to me run them which is partly why I was comfortable trying them out. I have tinkered with 10k, 14k, and 20k bulbs. I don’t mind anyone of them really.

The OR2 reef bars are great and reasonable priced the best I have tried . I always say that to people see things first as we all know everything in the hobby comes with a lot of hype but my tank loves em.

Do you think I’ll meed the OR reef bars with 2 V4s? I was hoping to match a similar spectrum without them.

I don't think so as the OR2 reefbars are using the same leds I think , I use them because my tank is 30'' wide and 30'' deep and wanted to maintain the corals across the whole tank .I am always messing with lights trying to improve things to the extent im putting a couple of T5 blue+ on to see if they make a difference in colouration its all about personal choice but the OR2 are great for me and priced very reasonable as I have them on timers.
.

Hey congratulations on your awesome tank, being able to run leds only too. Do you think you need to add the T5 now?
I am actually thinking of running leds only and removing the T5 on my next tank. Want to simplify my lighting.

Hi Mike,
I have been trying to colour up a couple of corals for about 18months without success and in a post to another reefer he said to try T5 at the front and back but as I had no room i made a single T5 unit with a blue+ across the middle in btwn leds so it runs front to back 1/ 4' reef bar 2/ 2x orphek atlantics in series 3/ 4' reefbar 4/ single T5 . 5 / 1 x orphek atlantik + a radion pro in series I know its a lot of light but ihave full coverage all over the tank .The corals im trying to improve are a WD and a rainbow monster both frags but the WD was based out with little colour. Both have improved I have taken pics to monitor any progress.

a quick side on shot with the T5 on the WD is below the tri color and the other stuck in the hysterix ,lot of work needed to thin corals out looking for a long handle scissor like cutter if anybody can recommend any.

What program are you running or is it one of your own. I am still in acclimation mode with mine, will probably go 2 more weeks with that mode.

Did you ever run the color&growth program? I think that will be the one I go with.

Thanks for the feedback. I will stick with the hybrid for now. You have incredible growths on them corals!
