The nursery tank, dripping in some fresh salt water.

They all seem to be swimming and feeding well so far.

Thanks buddy.

Got my Sea Chem Amonia alert badge today.

When it turns a little green, I add 15-20 drops of Amquel.

I think I underestimated the count, I may have 40+. Hard to count, lol

My daughter is enjoying it, she's not doing a whole lot of tank cleaning, but she's cheering me on, lol.

Post hatch day 6, did one gallon water change. Used this siphon with a little brush on the end.

Started feeding some TDO A today along with the rotifers.

Think I'm starting to see a stripe developing.

Post hatch day #10 and they're in metamorphosis stage, I think. Starting to look more like little fish now. Getting darker and developing a stripe on the bigger ones.

I think a tank with a couple dozen clownfish could be really cool.

How many

They're so hard to count, but I think I have between 35 and 40. I don't think I've lost any yet. I'm kinda nervous to stop the rotifers. They seem to be eating the B2 food from APBreed but I'm at work during the week. If there are rotifers in the tank they can eat all day. When I put a sponge filter in I'll lose the rotifers and be dependent on my wife not forgetting to do a mid day feeding. Interested in opinions from the more experienced on this.

Thanks,

Howard

Are those day 15 fish getting their second stripe? I'm raising a few batches of percula and the fry didn't get their second stripe untill around day 40, I'm on day 55 now and the second white stripe is still not fully developed. I also saw a scientific paper where the ocellaris got their stripes around day 12... just wondering if anyone knows if this is just a difference between the two species?

Yes, many of them are developing the second stripe now. This photo is from yesterday.

Thanks!

It's three weeks now, and I've added a sponge filter in place of the air stone. I also added a few pvc pieces but they don't seem interested yet.

Maybe they want a nice RBTA. I know of someone living nearby who has one.....

@ choss, they will actually prefer a large Gigantea carpet anemone, which is their natural host!
