Diamond Gobies are jumpers. Is your tank covered?

IME, they may hide for a short time, but should be out within a couple of days.

Sometimes longer. When my tank crashed last year and my 150G went from 30 down to about five fish, I assumed the Diamond Goby was one of the casualties. I didn't see it at all for a week or so, then it just popped back out one day.

It eventually disappeared for good a couple months after that. It was extremely skinny and never ate any frozen food--I feed mysis, brine, cyclops-eeze, BBS, various reef mixes--the Goby showed no interest in any of it.

It just liked to eat whatever it sifted in the sand and I think my tank wasn't providing enough of it. Seems that I was just unlucky in getting one that doesn't eat, most people report no issues getting theirs to eat frozen foods.
