how far are your lights off your tank

Just as the title states, I am wondering how far your lights are off your tank.

Also what lights do you have?

Maxspect 320watt using on 110g (48x18x30) mix reef. I have mine about 8 to 10 inches above the water.

I have 6x54W T5 with the bulbs 4" off the tank top in a 75G tank. About 5" off the water line.
