What kind of gorgonian is this?

This specimen that AquaCorals sells looks beautiful:

I'm curious what it is (the vendor doesn't mention). My guess is bushy sea rod (Rumphella sp) but I'd like some confirmation. Does not appear to match up with any of the photosynthetic Caribbean gorgs, though maybe Briareum asbestinum

O my goodness, that is gourgeous! Sorry though, I don't know what it is. It does look like it is related to corky finger however but nicer.

I'd say golden sea rod

I’m guessing Plexaurella but more can be said once the polyps retract. I had a large specimen years ago that loved light, heavy feeding and sweeping flow from a Sea Swirl

So I got corky finger, Plexaurella, and golden sea rod as answers (and have all in my tank). Based on the branching sinuosity and polyp length relative to branch size, I'm not sold on any of those.
I'l just have to buy and compare

I added some rumphella photos since they aren't as common in the hobby as they may have once been.

I believe they call them slit pore sea rod or gorgonian . I have one like that one but no where near that large . That one is beautiful !!

Hey all,
looks like this can't be resolved from a photo.

Thanks for the tries and I'll let this thread die unless a gorgonian enthusiast/expert chimes in.

You can really only get in the ballpark. Even experts have to look at the sclerites to be precise. Definitely a very nice variety.
