Do high phosphate and high magnesium cause corals to close?

Currently got a new torch coral mostly every parameter seems stable

Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
Salinity 1.025
Calcium 450
Temp 77 F

But my phosphate and magnesium and perhaps PH is off
My phosphate is currently 0.25 ppm
Magnesium 1470
And PH 8.0

My torch isnt bleached but it isnt really extending, got the coral for 3 days now

Torch corals can take a long time to acclimate. Your phos is not too high IMO. Alk is on the top end but again not outside the acceptable limit. Give it more time then evaluate flow and lighting with regard to its placement in the tank.

Your levels are not what I would consider high. FWIW average PO4 level on reefs is .13 mg/l and upwelling can raise it to 2 mg/l. What's more too low of PO4 to nitrogen can cause bleaching:

Numbers are fine....
Like any coral...after a week it's X....after a month....it's great.....a year it's wow!
Just the process...

parameters all look fine. It's not in too much flow is it? Mine have always done better in low flow

Phosphate of .25ppm is high.Phosphate should be .03ppm.I would do a water change and see if that helps.
