that is a good price, put a sicce pump for another 150.00 (w/shipping) and you've got a cone skimmer for 350.00.
What do you guys think of the rating, tank wise for the small? |

You will not find the skimmers here, but use the contact info and John will fill you in.

Tunze has two new hydrofoamer pumps the 9410 and 9420 the 9420 goes in a 8'' diam. and 22''tall skimmer so I think if would be OK for the small. They are suppose to hit the market in a week or two. I believe the 9420 is about 180 dollars.

I'm just curious with all the talk of design, if these skimmers are offering any innovations? Aside from slightly different dimensions, they look to be exact replicas of ATBs. Not that that would make them bad skimmers, in fact, it would likely make them pretty darn good (as it seems from the pics), but I'm just wondering if there are any new features here. TIA.

Yea the price seems to be the driver. I don't have $800 to drop on an ATB "economy" skimmer.

I got mine, and let me tell you this skimmer is excellent, the build quality and the design at such an affordable price with great customer service, John is a terrific guy to deal with. I installed it last night and there is about 1/2 of skimmate in the cup already... It's doing better than my BK mini 180..

Hi All,
Sorry for the delay on the pics guys, here it is next to the BK Mini 180 28 hours after initial set up, see the amount of skimmate compare to 4 days of skimmate on the BK...
