I am. I'm am working through some instability in my tank with nitrates. My tank is on or wason the verge of crashing this week. I'm not out of the woods buy any means and am taking off a half day to work on it further. Nitrates Sky rocketed and p04s elevated slightly. Not much sleep this week working on it.

Sounds like you need to drop on this one!

Any idea what happened? As much high end stuff as you have I thought you'd be stable Mable!

Frags donated to the CDP tank are never anyone's problem. Frags that are wanted are picked up for points and frags that are unwanted are given away at the end of the swap. Either way the donor is meeting the heart and soul of the CDP, which is to give as well as receive.

A nice little bonus is that 3-frag obligations are also tracked. Meaning, every member can look at the point sheet and see not only who has points but who's really giving to the program and/or working hard to meet the obligations they committed to by accepting frags from the CDP. So even though a donor may not get points he/she will get credit for meeting their 3-frag obligations and everyone can see when they do. The CDP is a two way street and those that truly enjoy growing out their corals in order to give back will find that many of the other donors look at that point sheet when determining who they want to donate to as well.

Enjoy the swap guys! And I look forward to following along with the new growing contest!

Fact: I can't track exceptions to the CDP rules regarding 3 frag obligations on CDP receipts. Believe it or not, keeping track of the CDP is very difficult and the spreadsheets, calculations, etc. don't allow for exceptions. So, this contest will need to adhere to current CDP rules for transactions that are CDP related.

Opinion: I don't know why growing contests should be handled any differently than any other CDP transactions. It's just a mass cDP transaction that happens to be a very nice deal for the giver. If you think the CDP rules are too restrictive if you participate in this contest then I think the $10 alternative is a very fair deal.

Sorry to **** in everyone's Cheerios. I'll be at the swap on Saturday taking complaints in person!

That spreadsheet has truly become a monster! Which is a good thing!

I've got a couple things pinpointed to what happened and have them resolved and I'm seeing good results back down to normal levels. It seems to have just been kind of a one-week fluke of stuff all happening at once. Luckily I've only lost one Coral.

Nook has the frags at his house. He is having people over today for an open house coral selling event. You can go by there and get a frag from him today and still join the contest.

The coral was kept under a T5/LED combo.
