Long term survival of <1.25" Maxima Clams

What has been your experience with the very small Maxima clams? Budget friendly compared to larger sizes, but at what cost?

After seeing a sale at LiveAquaria, I am wondering what is the general long term survival rate of "baby" clams, and whether anyone here has grown one from under that size to a healthy ~3" specimen?

(I have two healthy clams already, but both were purchased at about 3" shell length)

Long term success for under 2" is low.....3-5" way better

Agree with Uncle 99, I've had better success with larger clams.

Agree, 2.25" minimum is my take on buying any clams.
