Lobo coral in sands or rock?

I have had lobos/still have 2 but recently got a new green colored one. I decided to stick it on the rocks, seems ok right now but only been 2 days. I am just so used to seeing them in the sand and my other 2 are on the sand. Most all I see are in the sand . Soooo are they ok on rocks or should I move to the sand?
