Jebao Powerhead

Hey thinking about buying these power heads for my 75 gallon setup. Any one using them and i see there are apparently two versions with different controllers? Anyone know what the difference is? Thanks.

Avoid anything that isn't a PP or SW series.. SW is just the newer and PP is basically last years model..
I have 2 x PP8 in my 80G (4ftx2ft) tank but feel that the flow is a bit too powerful/directed and think that 4 x PP4's would have been a better choice (if I must stay with Jebao)..

I usually have no problem recommending Jebao products with a disclaimer that they can fail sometimes.. Many have good luck but it happens.. My PP pumps have been going on 2 or 3 years now with only being cleaned once.. No problems at all..
Older versions were junk but PP/SW seem good..

I do wish the flow was more spread out though and not so directed..

I will probably upgrade at some point but IMO for the price you can't beat them..

yes seems there is a new "OW" series on fish-street... make sure you bring your "Chingrish to Engrish to English" dictionary if you try to make sense of anything written on that site..

Seems they just allow more rotation of the whole body not and claim more "durable/longer lasting" design/construction..
