Skimmer Question
Need to add a skimmer to my new set up (120 gallon with a eShopps R-200 sump). My sump water depth in the skimmer area is 9" to 10". My LFS recommended the eShopps S200 skimmer which has a recommended water depth of 7" to 9" inches.
https://www.bulkreefsupply.com/s-200...er-eshopps.htm I had a bubble magus curve 7 on my last tank and really liked it. Looking at the bubble magus curve 7 elite skimmer https://www.aquacave.com/bubble-magu...e-psk-600.html This one has a recommended water depth of 9.5 inches to 11 inches which would really work well in my sump. Since there is a pretty good price difference, wondering which on of these would be a better or is there another skimmer that I should be looking at? Would prefer an internal pump to save some space for other equipment in the sump. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. |

Don't let water depth alone make your decision, you can always raise the skimmer.
