Classic Apex restart

I have a classic Apex (by that I mean the black one, bough about 6 years ago). For the past year I really slacked on the tank. We had a baby and have been building a new home so the combo just caused me to slack on the tank. Well since we will be moving soon I am ready to get tank back in order once its re set up. Problem I just noticed since I haven't used the apex in awhile is the apex app on my phone no longer works, I assume I need to delete it, update the apex (have never done :?) and get apex fusion. Pretty much treat it like I just got a used one and set it up all over again in new house. Does that sound about right? Any idea where I should look to get started? thank you,

Use Apex Fusion. Update the firmware on you Apex. Create an account on ApexFusion.com. Link your apex. Download our latest app from the iOS App Store or simply use the web browser of choice. Details for all of this can be found on our web site or in the community forum.
