80F - 86F Too high?
heyy, im new to reef and i want to keep a reef tank soon with anemone and all and ive done my research now with what i need etc.
but i have one question so i know the temperature requirement for BTA is 72 - 80F but my tank ambient temperature is around 83- 85F. alot of people say thats too high but weird thing is most people here (im from indonesia) keep them at around 85F temperature and they seems to be thriving and doing perfectly fine and i know theyre experience keeper and had the tank for years is it because im from indonesia and the coral here are used to those temperature instead of the colder temperature in US or other places? my question is can i keep them at around 85F? Good article about temperature, I think you'll be fine to keep them at that temperature. |
