My best result is by T5. I have HQI, T5, LED and since a few weeks Plasma. Best colours is by T5 in coral tank. So I think T5 or hybrid T5/LED is the best way. Maximum size best way footprint of tank is size of the light. I tested different systems for running a tank and I end up with Sangokai. But the system does not matter. Water level in my coral tank is 25cm an good flow. Footprint of tank is size of the T5. Colour of imported SPS corals does not lost from Fiji or Australia. In my showtank with 1m water level and different lights colours lost.

6 x ATI Sirius X6 + 2 HQI 1.000 Watt + Aquaconnect 300 Watt Plasma (in front)

Bad picture but you can see 4 ATI Sunpower 8 x 80 Watt.

Greetings from Germany
Torben

Small update,

The constructor of our house have give a date.
Between the half of april/1may we get the key. Yeah

Ow it is start to tickle,

We have decided to sell the ati hybrid and we go for the amazing fixture of philps the coral cares, amazing light and colors so great for us.

now we are busy to prepare a frame to get al the coral cares on a supframe so we can us it on the lift we gonna use.

Yesterday i have pick up my new ro unit.
And i have replace al the filters of my old unit.
Lovely to do something in the hobby.

Nieuwe aquamedic.

No we prepare a stand of the 2 units.
The id is to use one unit for waterchanges.
The other unit we gonna use to connect directly on the tank.
So no ro tank needed anymore.

Kind regards,

wesley

Congratulations Weasley. Fantastic Dreambox and beautiful house. The Netherlands style in building houses get more and more popular also in Germany. Can't wait to see more of your tank. Were are you located in the Netherlands? In the area of Dejong?

Greetings Torben
