Pvc cement in bulkhead

Should i cement my pvc into the bottom of my bulkhead? In the over flow i will leave it un cemented. However i have a small concern that the plumbing may "pop" off someday

If you can find a union that is small enough to fit through the nut for the bulkhead, sure. If not, I wouldn't. You won't be able to remove the bulkhead from the tank without sawing it off.

Teflon tape works pretty well, that's how I did mine.

Threaded bulkhead or slip fit? I wouldn't trust slip myself. Threaded just use the Teflon for sure. Slip cement on a short pvc pipe and cement a slip fit union to that, and next time buy a threaded.

if they're slip, cement them in place.

just to be clear, i'm talking about on the dry side of the bulkhead, heading down the drain in to the sump.

often i will buy threaded for drain lines (never supply lines), just to make it a little easier on me. but if i happen to be doing slip fit, i always cement, and usually leave a few inches of tail piece if possible, just in case i need to replace it later.
