6105 vs 6155
I'm curious what the difference is between the 6105 vs the 6155? Both appear to be controllable and the 6155 is only a couple hundred gallons more gph than the 6105. However the price tag is considerably more. Am I blindly missing something? Can someone explain the differences to me? Thanks!

6105 has a 1/2" magnet and 50W power supply, 6155 has a 3/4" magnet and 90W power supply. That is most of the cost difference.

Not to sound too condescending....but I'm wondering why one would pay $200 more for a unit only pushing 500 more gph? I understand the increased money needed to develop the unit but if you at my point of view it's a big money difference for little difference.

It is a $140.84 price difference, the 3/4" magnet holder costs $62.08 more, the 90W power supply costs $133.17 more if bought as spare parts. I don't disagree with you, if you have no use for the stronger magnet holder, I would get a 6150, the flow is the same, it is much quieter, longer warranty and only approx $60 more. In most cases it would be better to use more 6105's than 6155's, the only place I see going 6155 is you need a magnet for 3/4" glass, a little more flow and you want the far more robust and durable power supply, short of getting wet the 90W power supplies virtually never die, the 50W, last about 5 years.
