Lighting for Coral QT
Is QT'ing coral a good idea? If so, is there a cost effective lighting solution for the coral QT until they go in the DT under my LED's?
Trying to move slow and be patient, but maybe I'm being too conservative by QT'ing my corals? Thanks, ZB |

Some of them should definitely be quarantined like zoanthids and SPS, others like mushrooms and LPS not so much. Lighting depends on how long you plan on keeping them in there, my qt is a 5 gallon bucket that I put next to the tank to catch ambient light but I wouldn't recommend it long-term.

The lighting depends on the corals and how long you'll be keeping them in there.

I quarantine everything. Try a dimmable PAR38 bulb.
