Mini Carpet Anemone?
Came on attached to a torch coral I just acquired. Is this a carpet anemone? Any special care requirements?

I heard they are very easy to take care of but carry strong sting and can be fish eater.

I had a pretty big green carpet anemone. I also had, I think what’s called, a blue spotted Jaw fish. While I was showing off my tank to my friend the Jawfish swam right into the anemone. I sat there wrestling that fish out of that an anemone with a pair of chopsticks for about 10 minutes. My friends were staring at me like I was crazy. The fish lived for about a day, and then he died… It was my favorite fish, I gave away that anemone shortly after.

That picture is actually about five or seven years old, I have learned many things since then. That was the last carpet I ever owned...

That’s a haddoni carpet anemone. A relatively easy anemone to keep and can host clownfish. I love them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
