I don't have any personal experience with skunk clowns but I've found this site to be fairly accurate, and it seems to agree with that.

My lfs has a nice green one for 70, but looks like 6" diameter. Any concerns in a 75 gallon?

Do they harm/kill fish like most carpets? If so I will not as my leopards are my prize possessions

Well it's actually a gold/tan. Lfs gave me a good price, put it up on a pedestal after reading a bit more about it.

Magnifica almost never eat any fish. Their sting is not strong enough.

Well that's good to hear. Its perched itself up on a rock. Mouth still looks good, have not witnessed it deflate in 3 days either. I have it a few inches from the top of the water, under 2 ai primes. Gentle wavemaker on one side too

Ritteri ran a bit, downhill actually... seems to wanted more flow and less light.

Good news, the skunk clown finally made it!

That's the reason why I plan to put my mag into the tank I'm going to set up for my tiger jawfish.

What size tank and mag? Sounds like a cool idea. Good size burrow underneath and pedestal anemone.

Can anyone tell what type of skunk this is? Pink or orange? I have a hard time determining.

Easy to tell the different between the two, even in photos, once you know what to look for. What you have is an A. perideraion, which is the pink skunk clown fish.
A. sandaracinos, the orange skunk clownfish does not have the vertical white line near the gill.

The tank is a 40B, one of 6 (7 if you also count the sump) in my new system. The magnifica was originally about 10 inches in diameter, but because it was bleached when I got it, and also not eating well, it shrunk to about half of that. I just ordered another magnifica from Diver's Den. Hopefully that one will reinfect my current one with Zooxanthella so it can recover.

Late to the tread, but good to know. I was under the impression H. magnifica in aquariums were among the "aquarium fish" eater types not to be trusted such as S. haddoni carpets just not quite as bad.
