Pump in my Pond stopped working.
So I checked the line and it has power, but the pump seems to be dead. Is this repairable?

I frequently have the same problem with the home depot pumps in my fountain. They seem to burn out really quick. I went through 2 or 3 of them last year. I don't think they are repairable.

i have a quiet one 4000 that sucks as a return pump because of restarting issues, but once it is started it is great. let me know. i can take it to the meeting.

Damn I already broke down and bought one ($140) . My pond was looking foul and I didnt want to lose my fish.
But I wouldn't mind taking it as a back up. (of course you could always have it back if the need arises) |

You would be way ahead of the game to buy a real pump for your pond. I have a 7800gal per external pump on my 2000gal. pond. It runs the 55 gal up flow filter as well as the uv light and a huge amount of flow for the stream. The pump has been going strong for over ten years. not on this pond but also on the pool that i took it off of. It is a real work horse. I am sure you could buy a pump that will do the same as this one does at half the energy cost, but i kind of doubt it would last half as long. just my .02

Yea your right john, but money is tight, and it always seems to be tight. I really did not have the money for the one I bought.
