Vectra M1acting up

This morning when I came down to feed the fish, I realized the water level dropped. I realized the driver light is blinking "red" "white" "yellow". I checked the pump and opened up the casting to clean any shell , etc. Its all good, nothing stuck there. I tried to fire it up again but all I see is one second spin then stopped. I tried to reset the driver and the pump only making the one second spin. Is there any way to tell if this is the pump or the driver issue?

Ed

Check for a clog further down the line on the pump. We have found that the pump will allow large objects through that will end up clogging up spouts and such down the line.

The pump is less than a year. Still under warranty. I went to LFS to get a spare in case I have future problem. I connect the new one to the new controller. It is keep turning on a bit then off. I suspect I might accidentally trigger some pulse mode. How do I go about reset the driver? I saw one thread with the hard reset but it doesn't work for me. I didn't have this issue when I setup my first pump.

You may want to swap the power supply as that is what could have gone bad. If that fixed it then you can put the old controller and old pump back with the new power supply to confirm

Anyone know what this controller sequence means? Red, green + led, white +led. After three times, the controller turn solid green with led. However, the pump didn't turn on.

I got the LFS told me my power supply is catching " moisture" so its not delivering enough power. what kind of crap this is? My power supply is in the fish room. Power supply either on or off, I never heard of it will not deliver not enough power. They told me to get a replacement power supply for over $100. I really can't believe this is the reason they come back with. This is a $500 dollar pump and you tell me I have put a dehumidifier beside the power supply...

All I can say is that I had a MP40QD and two Vectra M1 fail after fairly short duty cycles. Buyer beware.
