FS: 75 Gallon Glass Aquarium and 100 Gallon Stock Tank

Hello -
I have a 75 Gallon Tank. It's probably 5 or 6 years old. I've had my reef in it for about 5 years of that. Just transfered everything to my new 225. The stand is yours with the tank... neither are in particularly good shape. It is not Reef Ready and has oak trim.

40 bucks takes it but you pick it up.

I also have a 100 gallon rubbermaid stock tank. I had it plumbed in to the 75 for some more water volume stability and to hold some extra live rock. It has a 2 inch bulkhead near the top and a 1 inch bulkhead in the bottom. Makes it easy to set up for overflow or to hook up an external pump. One or both of the bulkheads can be plugged.

40 bucks takes this too!

You can check out a few bad pics at the top of my 225 build thread:

PM me with any questions you have.

I also have several pumps, an overflow, some Koralith Ca Reactor Media, a RO III DE MH pendant, and a lot of other odds and ends I'll be getting rid of. I'll post those on a different thread but PM me if your looking for something. I'm on the NE Side of Indy near Oaklandon.

Wrasse and SPS trade offers also welcome!
Thanks,
Mike

Is the 75 and stand still available? If so I could drive over Friday or Saturday afternoon and pick them up. You mentioned that they are not in the greatest shape, what particularly is wrong with them? Will the tank still work as a display tank, or is it too scratched up? As long as it can still make a decent display I'll come over ASAP to get it.

Thanks,
-Kevin

The tank is fine and holds water fine. There are some scratches but not too many. The stand is really not looking good. It can look better but still not something I would put in my living room.

Im available this afternoon or tomorrow evening.

Gonna have to pass for now. By the time I add in gas money for a special trip over there, I'm half way to a new tank. I'll check back when I have a planned trip that way, and if you still have it, I'll be more than happy to pick it up.

Thanks,
-Kevin

Sorry, this is a bit off topic, but I read that you got your new aquarium from Extreme Aquariums?

How do you like them? I went in there once when I first started the hobby since my BF works at Pearson Ford, and thought the guy was kind of rude? Maybe it's just because I was a noob at the time, I'm not sure.

It would've been nice if I had had a better experience since we live in Zionsville.

The 250 watt ballast is sold. I do have the reactor media still available - 10 dollars. 75 gallon tank and stand are free as is the 100 gallon stock tank. Maybe bring me an sps frag or somethng. i really just want these bigger things out of my basement.

I dont get to extreme aquariums that often because I work Saturdays. However Ive bought many things there over the pastfew years. I like the sps colonies. Instead of paying 20-50 for good frags you get a nice sized colony on a natural looking base for 65. Sometimes you can get an even better price- especially if you buy afew items.

PM me as I do not check this thread very often.
