Not to take away from the tank build here, but what are those beams in the basement? They look like some sort of engineered I beam (which I've seen) but with metal brackets attached to them? To stiffen them up?

Mike- Those are open webbed floor joists...They make it a heck of a lot easier to run plumbing and cabling :-)
