Do you belong to a local fish club?

Not right now. The only "local" ones are kinda too far north or south. There's Florida Marine Aquarium Society (FMAS) - Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, Palm Beach Marine Aquarium Society (PBMAS) , Pompano Beach Reef Freaks. Someone should start a PSL club. hint, hint.

Actually there is one closer
Acutally there is a club in Brevard county. www.BrevardAreaReefSociety.com formerly reefers.org. B.A.R.S. has been around in Brevard county for over 5 years and would welcome any new members.

B.A.R.S. may be closer, but it's still not local. Any other PSL reefers out there that want to start a reef club?

Sounds great! Martin Co. is a great location for me. I might be able to get a reefer or two to join. What happens next?

everybody's welcome! (ax murderers and child molesters need not apply )
the easiest thing would be to go see the tall bearded dude who manages aquatic world in stuart and give me the contact info there. or you can shoot me a PM with your real name, email, and maybe phone (?), and if your willing to host one of the monthly meetings. what's the best day for you guys to have a meeting on? My best day is sunday afternoon after 5pm (at least until football season),or saturday after 7pm. and even though I work a LFS, I prefer clubs have no store affiliations to keep things on the up and up. |

ya, the owners the short bearded dude, I'm the taller bearded dude (6'6") and easily noticed.
but the shop is at the S.E. corner of US 1 and monterey, not kanner. and I believe the black haired dude at aquatic life (ace) has been 'moved on' from there. I'll start another thread later with 'treasure coast florida reef club" and link it back to this thread to see if we can get a few more hits. |
