Pest Invasion I.D
My friend sent me this photo and is having trouble figuring out with this is. He said his whole sand bed is literally brown with probably millions of these guys. They are extremely tiny and this is a zoomed pic with a magnify glass. You notice they have a white dot in the middle and are oval. They are hard he said and almost feel like they have a shell. He also said they literally stick to every surface. If you touch the sand bed they will attach like glue. He is desperate to find out what they are and how to treat them. In the picture they are on a dump of hair algae.CDCCE9A5-3A42-404C-BD5A-5A28BD2FD4C6.jpg

Poor picture..
Need one closer and clearer.. Based on description it sounds like it might just be a limpet or just a snail of sorts.. Browse here and see if you can find it too.. https://www.lionfishlair.com/hitchhikers-guide/ Its likely though that the algae issue is what should be addressed first/foremost.. Typically an abundance of creatures indicates an abundance of waste and their population will increase/decrease accordingly (self limiting basically based on available food)

Agreed, tough to make out from that picture. Maybe flatworms?
