A few fun teases...
Some of my fish are going to be part of a large and an incredible breeding program. I am helping to hopefully support and organize a killer collecting trip for something super cool. This is in conjunction with two huge names and is really exciting to me! Some of my fish are going to be part of a well-known, researcher, speaker, diver etc author's new book. Drew is also contributing some of his stuff for the book. Hey All, I just saw Tony mention it elsewhere so, Tony Vargas is the author and it is his new book. Really exciting stuff afoot, lol... Shows their size difference...probably around 1.75 and 2...ish Last edited by humaguy; 01/21/2018 at 05:04 PM. Reason: added pic. added Tony Vargas information |

Very cool stuff! You've gotta be giddy with excitement... I would be! I think the important question is, "when will I be able to buy a conspic for under $800?" :0)

This is the "super rare size" small conspic from 4 years. I think she was around 2.5 inches, which is pretty rare in this country, as they all go to Asia.
While quite small, she was virtually 100% adult. in the tank lol, and then I saw this little conspic. 4 months ago, sept 2017, these fish are truly babies and totally incredible it is amazing to see how much the hybrid has changed hybrid a few days ago crazy to consider that is 2 inch pvc lol, the brine looks enormous next to her. I shaved it down a bit. a few days ago anyway, this is what we were discussing tonight and thought I would share. the price of the cb vs wc is virtually identicle. the cb is a bargain, all things considered Last edited by humaguy; 01/23/2018 at 07:32 PM. |

Heartbreaking video, I have been there and man is it hard to swallow. Makes you think about quitting the hobby. Becoming complacent is not good, and often leads to bad things in all things in life. Thanks for sharing, I know it brought back not good times for me but always good to be reminded of mistakes as to not repeat them. On another note, I look forward to reading the book and possibly being able to purchase one of the babies from the breeding program you're loaning your fish to. Always love reading this thread!

Talking with Matt P about contributing pics and stuff for an article on Poma for Coral Mag.
Lol, but my pics really are not up to snuff. One of the hybrid might make it. I need to get out the Light L16 and start playing with it to get some good high rez stuff. Ugh.. |
